Our Story

Meet Strathorn Clydesdales at Aden Country Park, taking part in

Our Story

Sunday 18th May 2014

Dig out your wellies for a day on the farm celebrating the amazing culture of North East Scotland. Pull up a hay bail to hear the special storytelling sessions in the courtyard, get vocal in the bothy ballad sing-a-long or add yourself to the archives by recording your own anecdotes, tall tales and fascinating facts. Then top it all off by getting up close and personal with the magnificent Clydesdale horses from Strathorn Farm Stables, or just sit back and relax as they take you on a leisurely dray ride around the park. Ahh, ’tis a farmer’s life for us!

LANDWARD

We were involved with the making of this programme  which goes out on  Friday 11 April  BBC2 7.30pm  Landward looks at how the events of the 1914-18 War  reshaped the Scottish Countryside. The loss of the men who used to work the land, of the horses to transnsport the equipment to the Western Front and the  harvesting of trees for the war effort changed the face  Scotland for ever.
